Quan | QUANfunding | Realizziamo desideri!

About Us

QUANfunding is an innovative socialwishing platform that was launched in January 2023 in Italy with the aim of increasing people's purchasing power and decreasing the gap between what a person wants and the sacrifices they would be willing to make to obtain it.

The founder and creator of QUANfunding is Marco Casini, an entrepreneur with a revolutionary vision and a passion for technology and social issues, who has set himself the goal of allowing anyone to get a discount on any item they want.

In an ever advancing society, anyone should be able to afford what they want!

Thanks to the participation of the community and the creation of a network of solidarity and sharing between people, based on the principle of reciprocal donation, QUANfunding is able to connect thousands of people at the same time with the common goal of obtaining their object of desire.

The values and principles guiding QUANfunding are:

  • Transparency: QUANfunding does not charge commissions on fundraising and makes the sale price and discount obtained for each project visible.

  • Security: QUANfunding guarantees the protection of users' personal data and payments, and offers a safe and guaranteed purchase.

  • Simplicity: QUANfunding offers an easy-to-use and intuitive platform, which only requires three steps to create and participate in projects.
  • Innovation: QUANfunding is based on state-of-the-art technology and an intelligent algorithm that optimises the distribution of donations between projects.

The advantages and benefits QUANfunding offers its users are:

  • Savings: QUANfunding allows you to get an incredible discount on any item you want, without having to reach a set target.

  • Choice: QUANfunding offers the possibility to choose from millions of products available online or in shop, without limits of category or price.

How we manage internal security at QUANfunding

Our security measures are designed to protect both our company and the personal information of our community.
We use a state-of-the-art security infrastructure, adhering to the highest standards in data management and protection, to defend against threats that emerge on the internet.

Our security programme focuses on the following aspects:
Internal information security programme: We always aim to increase the level of security and reduce potential risks associated with our digital systems. We design access protocols and network infrastructures to ensure systematic internal access control to Quan's resources, facilities and servers, based on the principle of least privilege. Quan uses two-factor authentication (2FA) to manage internal access within the organisation.

Protection of digital infrastructures, systems and applications: We design and integrate security measures during each stage of development, with the aim of ensuring the creation of better and more secure products, while also respecting the fundamental principles of computer design and engineering. The applications and systems we use, such as new functions, security code and other configuration changes, must undergo a rigorous quality control system carried out by our internal security teams.

Furthermore, most of these applications and systems are monitored with independent routine audits and penetration tests carried out by renowned experts (external to QUAN) working in the field of cybersecurity.

Corporate governance, risk management, and compliance with security measures: at Quan, we believe that becoming aware of security measures, and applying them in the workplace, is an ongoing process. Every employee must attend an annual refresher course on the latest security and privacy regulations. To have a safe workplace, we all have to do our part. We have implemented, and put into practice every day, various security processes and controls at various levels (personal, management, technical). In addition, we put in place security policies and procedures to safeguard our systems and protect our users' data. We conduct regular audits and assessments of the security risks of our own systems and those of third-party companies we work with.

Team/Offensive Security: Our internal team is able to identify vulnerabilities in our systems and work processes by carrying out cybersecurity tests using offensive security methods. During these tests, we are able to simulate real-time attacks on all areas of our company, thus being able to prioritise increased security measures in the areas most at risk. The aim is to collect data and information that can be used to prevent potential future vulnerabilities, and thus reduce the risk of a data breach.

Threat monitoring and management: Access to our digital infrastructure and systems is always closely monitored. In fact, at Quan we have a specific security programme in place to monitor, investigate and respond to potential threats: by doing so, we are able to detect, investigate, manage and remediate potential cyber damage.
